Margaret Weber

Margaret Weber is a long time Detroit resident who has done lots of work on recycling in the city. In April 1990 she started Rosedale Recycles, a monthly drop off site for recyclables, and then in 2006 she helped to found Zero Waste Detroit to advocate against incinerators and for recycling. Zero Waste Detroit has collaborated with the Ecology Center in the fight against incinerators and has also worked to spread recycling education. Margaret also works in shareholder advocacy where she fights for environmental issues from a shareholder perspective.
